Madison Legion used 6 different pitchers and played 15 different players in a 7-5 victory over Sauk Prairie on Wednesday evening at the "Tin Dome" in Sauk City.
Sam Wood earned the victory after starting the game and pitching 2.1 innings, giving up just one run on one hit. Chas Schuster earned the save after pitching the 7th inning, allowing one run on two hits.
Offensively, Madison tallied 7 runs on 10 hits, highlighted by a solo homerun by Zach Addamo in the 6th inning. Chris Anderson also added 2 hits and collected 4 RBI for Madison.
With the win, Madison improves to 7-4 on the season, and will take on Watertown, in Watertown on Friday for the first game of the Tri-State Tournament. Madison will also play Hartford on Friday afternoon before playing Norwood, IL on Saturday, and two games against opponents to be determined on Sunday.
