Madison Legion to hold fundraising event with Madison Mallards for 2011 season

The Madison American Legion baseball team is proud to announce that they have partnered with the Madison Mallards baseball team for a fundraising event for the 2011 summer season. Madison Legion Baseball will be selling tickets to the WEDNESDAY, JULY 13th Madison Mallards home game at the Duck Pond at Warner Park against the Waterloo Bucks, beginning at 7:05 PM. The Mallards graciously have agreed to give Madison Legion $2 for each ticket they sell to the June 10th game. In addition, Madison Legion Baseball will be holding a 50/50 raffle at the game in which 1/2 of the ticket sales will be given to the Madison Legion baseball program. A member of Madison Legion will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game, and the team will be announced on the public address system. Lastly, but certainly not least, the Mallards have allowed Madison Legion to play at the Duck Pond on Tuesday, July 12th vs. Mauston, beginning at 11AM.
